Around Korea part 3: A road trip to Taean National Park

Last weekend my husband surprised me with an amazing trip to Taean. We rode the motorcycle all the way there; it’s about 3 hours driving from where I live.

Taean is a very beautiful city full of friendly people, but we couldn’t find any western food there. Fried chicken and pizza were the only things that weren’t Korean food.

We stayed in a pension called Pension Bronze our first night there. The owner was an old lady. She was really friendly and the pension was 2 minutes away from the beach and had a very cute pink room. The only problem there was the hot water.

On the following morning we visited Taean Temple, which is very beautiful but the roads need to be improved. Then we went to the forest. And the last stop was Anmyondo island, which was totally worth the visit.

Buddha's huge statue.

At that night we stayed at Don Beach motel, for 40,000KW we've got a room with ocean view, air con, cable and DVD.

On the last day we went to the Anmyondo Jurassic Park museum. The museum is located on the top of a hill and has a beautiful view.

Dinosaur and a naked Greek statue?
